missing ) error

I am new to jscharts. I looked at it after a new download.
but it complaints that

Error: missing ) after argument list

in firefox's debug console

It seems that some characters cannot be recognized.
I am using Windows XP, Simplified Chinese charset, and GB2312 encoding.

thanks, but it doesn't work

the original file is western european(iso-8859-1) encoding, convert it to utf-8, and it is OK now.
so please distribute it in utf-8 encoding that everyone in the world can use it without problems
