Re: JSChartXML: file not loaded or malformed ... - 14 years ago
Can you check with Firebug if the XML is really found? There should be an XHR request.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: String value on Line Chart - 14 years ago
Only the labels attached to existing data values appear. We plan to change that, but yet we cannot promise the modification for this month's release.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: horizontal bar chart - 14 years ago
Sorry, but no. Only vertical bars are supported.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support

Re: Line Graph - Clickable Points - 14 years ago
Hi, We will implement this feature somewhere in November, can't say exactly when though. We are thinking about something similar to the tooltip circles, but with a custom Javascript event attached.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Stacked bar/column charts? - 14 years ago
Sorry, there is no support for stacked bars charts. The multiple data sets can be used with line charts only.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
New version: 2.05 - 14 years ago
Hi all, The 2.05 version has just been released today (download with the 'free' license here). The most important changes are faster rendering in IE and a few new "options". They allow you to set a prefix or/and a suffix to the chart values (like attaching for example the $ sign in front of the numeric values), please look for them in the reference.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support

Re: Line chart fails when all Y-values are the same - 14 years ago
We just released a new version (download). One the changes is addressing right this issue, the error should no longer appear in your charts if you are using the same parameters. Using setIntervalEndY() would have worked for the old script too, but there are a few other important changes like faster rendering in IE.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Line chart fails when all Y-values are the same - 14 years ago
There is no actual support for negative values, in the way that we have made no complete tests - the user could try now negative numbers in the data series, in the parameters, but we cannot yet guarantee that it will work as expected. You can use setIntervalStartY() and setIntervalEndY() to set the lower and upper limits for the Y axis.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Line chart fails when all Y-values are the same - 14 years ago
Can you please show us more of the code? Are there any parameters you are using? Also mentioning the browser you are using might be useful (though I guess it's firefox). Thanks!by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: tooltips with multiple line charts? - 14 years ago

Re: json support - 14 years ago
Could you please provide some code sample to test this issue?by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: tooltips with multiple line charts? - 14 years ago
You're right, we just missed this bug in our tests... The IDs of the tooltips are duplicated when they are generated for the same data sets in different charts. We will take care of this bug and release soon the new script, sorry for the inconvenience.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Version 2.03 - 14 years ago
Hi all, A new version of JS Charts has just been released and is available now to be downloaded. It handles two bugs in IE (any version). Before 2.03, when printing the charts, the texts were misplaced (in quirksmode) or missing at all (in standard mode). Also, in some situations, the pie charts were drawn wrong when having zero value pie sections. I wish to thank the users that reported these bby sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: json support - 14 years ago
I guess it's really something to think about, I added it to the list of possible features for the next versionsby sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: IE warning pop-up - 14 years ago
IE8 throws an error too but with a much better explanation: "HTML Parsing Error: Unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (KB927917)". Try to put the Javascript code to the end of your HTML or better into a function that runs on window.onload, e.g.: window.onload=function(){ var myChart = new JSChart('chart_container', 'pie', '', ''); ..... myby sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Can bar chart plot negative value? - 14 years ago
There is yet no support for any negative values.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Bar chart height/width adjustable? - 14 years ago
You can try using setIntervalEndY() for heights and setBarSpacingRatio() for the widths.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: How to mke the tooltip in line chart clickable - 14 years ago
Although you could put anchors or any HTML in the tooltip, you can't click them because the tooltip disappears when the mouse is leaving the tooltip trigger (the circle). The tooltips are used for extra descriptions only.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Setting a color for the separator lines in pie chart - 14 years ago
The "line" appears because of the way <canvas> is drawn. In fact there's no actual line drawn between the pie sections, it's only the background seen between the sections.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: JS Charts and AJAX - 14 years ago
It doesn't work with any chart data? Or only with some specific data? We need you to provide at least some code so that we can reproduce the bug in order to fix it. Thanksby sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Special characters in titles, $ in number values and number format - 14 years ago
Hmm.. in the character set mentioned here , ñ is there but only lower case. I am not able yet to test any chart with this character for another week since I'm away right now... About the formatting we think to implement it in a future release, soon, but can't say any exact date unfortunatelly.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: horizontal bars in bar chart? - 14 years ago
No, only vertical bars are possible to use right now.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: y axis in reversed order? - 14 years ago
Not sure, there are a few more important features to implement. This is only the second time to receive a request about this feature within a year. So we are not even decided yet what features to implement for the next release and when it's going to be released either. Might be August but it might be as well in autumn only.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
