Re: Pie chart only 1 sector - 14 years ago
Sorry, I have totally forgot about this subject in the forum... We have just made a modification in the script that allows one bar charts and one sector pie charts. It is a small modification, that's why we haven't made any big announcement on the site, but will solve your problems.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: JSchart and ajax problem - 14 years ago
Can you please show us some code? Are there any alerts (e.g. not loaded or malformed xml)? Is the request returning the proper contents of the xml?by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: using decimal values in bar chart? - 14 years ago
Odd, I don't get any alert. I commented the myChart.setBarValuesDecimals(0) line and the decimals were shown normally. Does it happen in any browser? What OS/browser/version are you using?by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support

Re: Internet Explorer 8 - 14 years ago
Finally JsCharts will include support for IE8 the next release will be available soon and will also allow mutiple data series for line charts.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Legend in charts - 14 years ago
The only way to add some text content to the charts is using Tooltips, please see the documentation how to use them.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: open source - 14 years ago
Nope, no open-source. Funny you ask though Right now we are working for the next release which will be available soon. The only new features will be multiple data series for line charts and IE8 support, but they are the most demanded feature. Things are going somewhat slowly because we have to set some priorities and we still concentrate on projects like bannersnack.com or photosnack.com and soby sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: chart does not draw in IE, only values show - 14 years ago
If it's about IE8, we haven't been able to solve the problem yet. The thing is, we rely on excanvas and as far as I know it has not been updated for IE8...by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Object doesn't support this property or method - 14 years ago
The "JSChart:NAME must be string and corespond to an existin id" alert says you have not given JScharts an existing container ID. Is there a div or something with the "chartcontainer" id?by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: smooth line - 15 years ago
No, we have no support for curves (only straight lines between the data points). I am not sure if it's worth the effort to implement in future versions, until then I already have a list of new features. Do you think it's "a must" for the second version?by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Is it possible to make multiple datasets? - 15 years ago
JScharts does not support multiple datasets at this time. It is possible to implement it in future versions, but we have not fixed any schedule for the next release yet.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Especial Characters doesn't appear - 15 years ago
Sorry for the late response... Try using utf-8 when saving your files.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Internet Explorer 8 - 15 years ago
At the moment, yes, we're still struggling with IE8's latest changes... We are using excanvas to render the the charts in IEx and it hasn't been updated for IE8by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Input data not array - 15 years ago
I guess it's because the 00 and 01 properties, they should not begin with a number even if they were defined as strings in the object definition. But using myJSON['00'] and myJSON['01'] will work.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Character '$' for Y axis data - 15 years ago
This is one of those things that we didn't implement in this first version... It's already on the list of features for the v2 version (prefix or sufix for the values), but unfortunately I can't promise any date for the next release.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: display Non englioh Text - 15 years ago
As mentioned in other topics the only supported characters are !"#$%&\()*+,-./0123456789:;<=>?@ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[]^_`abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz{|}~'¡¢£¤¥¦§¨©ª«¬®¯°±²³´µ¶·¸¹º»¼½¾¿ÀÁÂÃÄÅÆÇÈÉÊËÌÍÎÏÐÑÒÓÔÕÖ×ØÙÚÛÜÝÞßàáâãäåæçèéêëìíîïðñòóôõö÷øùúûüýþÿby sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Save image charts - 15 years ago
Hmm, I'm not sure if that's possible. That's because the whole chart is drawn with Javascript within the browser.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: JSChart : String Error - 15 years ago
When creating the JScharts instance you must assign the ID of the element that will be the container of the chart. For example here http://www.jscharts.com/how-to-use that ID is 'chartcontainer'.by sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support
Re: Problem with euro sign - 15 years ago
Since we use SVG for rendering texts, only the following characters are supported in this version: !"#$%&\()*+,-./0123456789:;<=>?@ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[]^_`abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz{|}~'¡¢£¤¥¦§¨©ª«¬®¯°±²³´µ¶·¸¹º»¼½¾¿ÀÁÂÃÄÅÆÇÈÉÊËÌÍÎÏÐÑÒÓÔÕÖ×ØÙÚÛÜÝÞßàáâãäåæçèéêëìíîïðñòóôõö÷øùúûüýþby sabinmunteanu - Discussions & Support

Re: Line break in axis lables - 15 years ago
